We are looking for you We are looking to add a compliance professional and regulatory specialist to our European team - This role is based in London.

While the role is mainly focusing on daily investment guideline interpretation and coding, the individual is encouraged to participate in projects and initiatives as well.


In a challenging field and fast-moving industry, we aim to improve with each day and use technology, such as Robotics, to improve our processes and systems.

What you will do

  • Responsible and primary focused on rule implementation of investment guidelines of AllianzGI portfolios to ensure contractual, regulatory, and internal Investment Portfolio Compliance
  • Being a trusted and independent partner to advise internal clients on investment guideline matters in a timely and professional manner
  • Capturing regulatory and contractual investment guidelines in FundDesigner
  • Implementation and coding regulatory and contractual investment guidelines in compliance systems e

g:
Bloomberg CMGR, ThinkFolio, MIG21, SQL based proprietary system

  • Leading daily investment compliance guideline requests from client, regulatory and internal team members in globally managed portfolios. Interacting with Portfolio Management, Client Services, IT as well as the Legal department to ensure timely identification, documentation, escalation, and resolution of compliance issues
  • Support the development of a global IPC function
  • Continuously improving coding principles, guideline standardisation and rule coverage and automatisation
  • Participating in projects/initiatives which aim to enhance processes and systems.

What you bring

  • Professional studies in a related field such as the IMC, CFA or similar is highly desirable.
  • Validated experience in investment compliance within the financial industry
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable regulations, in particular UCITS
  • Experience in handling relationships with fund auditors and with global regulators (BaFin, CSSF or SFC)
  • Knowledge of recognised compliance systems such as MIG21, Charles River, Bloomberg, SCD, Think Folio etc. is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of fund, securities, and derivatives markets
  • Ability to share and explain knowledge and experience in a structured and clear manner
  • A passion for the field of Investment Compliance
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
