The ELT Division is a global leader in the provision of multimedia English language teaching and learning materials.

Operating in over 100 countries, it reaches millions of teachers and students each year to support the development of English language proficiency.


ABOUT THE ROLE

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide insight into business performance, advise FP&A in their delivery of performance reporting and insights.
  • Present to client groups together with commentary to interpret the results
  • Improve the effectiveness of FP&A by providing relevant insights to ensure their support is accurate and specific, improving the quality of internal and external data used
  • Support contracts with 3rd parties to ensure delivery of goods and services
  • Develop components of the budget and provide guidance on forecasts, interpreting business conversations
  • Build market intelligence and market behavioural expectations
  • Provide daytoday support to Divisional Business Partner including dealing with questions and queries from other Finance teams.
We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

You will also have:

Essential:

  • Qualified financial accountant or demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to work at a detailed level whilst keeping sight of the bigger picture.
  • Ability to convey complex concepts, in a clear and engaging way to stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels in the organisation.
  • Capability to solve problems effectively.

Desirable:

  • Data visualization expertise
  • Experience of working in a global organization
  • Experience of the publishing industry.
