The Workday Services Integrations Lead will own the development and delivery of integrations from Workday HCM to Informatica or 3rd party providers by leading the design, build, test and deployment of solutions.

The role requires technical, business and project management skills, including coordination with other workstreams.


What you'll be doing:


  • Provide liaison between the technical team and business stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Support solution architect team designing integrated Workday solution.
  • Support the HCM Technical lead to plan tasks across all project stages in collaboration with other workstreams to factor in dependencies.
  • Provide regular project status to the HCM technical lead, highlighting and mitigating risks and issues early.
  • Develop and maintain all discovery questionnaires, scoping documents, templates, etc.
  • Execute discovery activities to understand the existing integrations architecture landscape.
  • Colead integration workshops and design sessions with the implementation partner to ensure all WPP's requirements are translated into deliverable solutions adhering to best practices.
  • Support and monitor integration documentation to ensure it accurately reflects the solution and all requirements are clearly captured to enable signoff by all stakeholders.
  • Work and coordinate with all stakeholders, both internal, vendors and implementation partners, to ensure the design is fully understood and all design gaps are closed.
  • Work with the Test workstream to help define the test approach & scenarios, support defect resolution and test signoff.
  • Define the Integration cutover approach and plan and oversee the deployment to production.
  • Support the solution handover to the Workday Services team and provide support during the hypercare period after golive.
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement, including using technologies such as AI and RPA to give WPP a competitive advantage through its deployment of Workday.

Who you'll be working with:


The Workday Integrations Consultant will report to the Workday Data & Integrations Lead and liaise with the global Workday team.


What you'll need:


  • Extensive knowledge of Integration Architecture in the Workday ecosystems.
  • Ability to consult, capture and analyse requirements from both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical challenges and solutions to nontechnical people.
  • Experience in defining and documenting highlevel business requirements of process flows across multiple supporting systems.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into easytodigest deliverables.
  • Solutionorientated mindset to identify where improvements can be made to existing business challenges.
  • Customerfacing consulting skills, excellent presentation and writing skills with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to tailor depending on the audience.
  • Experience collaborating with businesses, projects & vendors over multiple time zones.
  • Experience of creating/supporting Workday integrations of multiple types: Core connectors, RaaS, EIBs, Studio, BIRT
  • Good working knowledge of web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc)
  • Proficiency with XML, XPath and XSLT
