Supplier Approval Technologist (Food)
My client, a leading food
- production company in the Newry Area, are in search of a Supplier Approval Technologist to join their team.


Main Responsibilities:


The Supplier Approval Technologist will be responsible for managing all raw materials, packaging, and service supplier's requirements across the company.

Assisting in external and customer specific audits, customer compliance standards, raw material transfers, gathering traceability information, audits, and where required EPD / NPD projects.

Reporting into the site Technical Services Manager.


Essential Criteria:


  • A Food Related Degree (Desirable not essential)
  • Proven previous experience in a Raw Material Specifications Technologist role
  • Numerical and negotiation skills
  • High level of IT skills (e.g., Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook)
  • Ability to lead, inspire, organise, and motivate in a team
