Accounts Payable Clerk/ Query Resolution/ Supplier Management/ Annual Bonus/ Agile Working (2 Days WFH)
My client is looking for a positive and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join their inclusive and friendly team.

You will be responsible for all elements of the Purchase ledger process with a focus on managing relationships with key suppliers to ensure queries are resolved effectively.

Although an Accounting and Purchase Ledger position, previous experience in a customer service capacity is highly advantageous.

  • Supplier account management and taking full responsibility for query resolution
  • Management of key accounts to agreed service level agreements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Liaising internally with other departments to resolve invoice queries
  • Management of any legal letters or procedures
  • Maintain and monitor ledger balances
  • Perform regular statement reviews
  • Oversee cash flow issue escalation
  • Perform ledger adjustments as required and instructed
  • Investigation and resolution of credit balance discrepancies
  • Investigation and resolution of unallocated funds in suspense accounts

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workflow
  • Strong IT systems and Excel skills (Intermediate as a minimum requirement)
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities
  • An understanding of and exposure to the supplier management process
  • Previous experience in a customer service/ relationship management capacity is highly advantageous
