The agencies that comprise GroupM are all global operations with leading market positions.


About the team:

GroupM provides products and services to the GroupM agencies. These range from technology solutions through to training programmes. Conceptually the GroupM team exists to facilitate efficiencies in the Agencies themselves and provide thought leadership to them.


The GroupM Supply team, a part of GroupM Investment underpins the media needs of our programmatic buying businesses, including Xaxis and GroupM Digital services.


The team have developed direct to publisher relationships, unrivalled in quality and scale, where we can acquire digital media to a quality, price and level of access that gives our buying businesses unique advantage against the market.


You will work in a Media team of 20 people who are passionate about a common vision - delivering the very best quality of media for our clients.


The team is varied - from trading leads, to optimisation analysts, media analysts, product and engagement managers, technical account managers and other roles.


Role Objective:


The Agency Engagement Team will provide a strategic focus on driving new business across our current products and services, as well as any future product and services we develop.

Our approach is client centric, focusing on our agencies and client's full digital strategies.

The role will act as a pivot into the Customer Engagement and Growth squad, as well as working closely with the GroupM's Programmatic Consults team.


The role will shape the commercial strategy of the trading team, focusing on putting the client first, while continuing to deliver on our publisher commitments.


KPIs:


  • Driving additional business from New Clients / Existing Clients
  • Increase revenue to the business via our products and service
  • Ensure our products and services are strategically aligned with the wider GroupM business and our agencies

Responsibilities:


  • Understanding and communicating the vision and values of our products and services
  • Develop relationships with and understand client digital strategies and needs
  • Align our strategy with that of the wider business
  • Input and define our commercial strategy, putting the client front and centre
  • Client Engagement
  • Build client relationships supporting their full digital strategy
  • Generate collateral and identity for our products and services
  • Internal project management
  • Liaison between our Agency Engagement Team and the wider GroupM teams, to ensure new business opportunities have the structure to grow
  • Ensure any progress made to our product and services are clearly communicated to our agencies and clients
  • Work closely with GroupM marketing team to ensure our product and services are communicated at a group level within the industry
  • Revenue and Product Management
  • Provide regular updates on the commercial success of our products and services
  • Work with the wider investment teams to ensure revenue targets are met and financial flow completed
  • Team Development
  • Manage more junior members of the team
  • Develop their skill set and career paths to better aid the development of our team, our agencies and our clients

Experience:


  • Substantial experience and proven track record in client and agency facing roles
  • Experience in people management
