We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a lovely team within a Payroll Services company based in St Albans.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your skills and experience where you will be fully supported and provided with excellent training

You be responsible for processing end to end payrolls.

The payroll administrator's duties include the management of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of timesheet input, computing wages, and ensuring delivery of reports so staff are paid correctly and on time.

To be successful as a payroll administrator you should have strong numeracy skills and be able to multitask effectively

Hours:Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm

Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing information and answering questions about payroll related matters
  • Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, holiday pay, statutory payments and deductions
  • Preparing and issuing earnings statements
  • Maintaining employee records
  • Coordinating with your clients to ensure correct employee data
  • Processing pensions

What the client is looking for:

  • Experience working in a payroll role would be beneficial
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good time management and organisational skills
