Description

The hire will join the European investment team, who you will sit with. The role reports directly into the Portfolio Manager. The hire will be part of the credit investment committee, playing a key role in weekly / monthly meetings.

Key to the role is workinga dual remit across trading assistant and credit investment support tasks - please note that the fund have a separate operations team sat in-house (this role is front office headcount).

Ad-hoc project work can also form a strong component of the remit - instructing/ assisting tech teams to improve systems, infrastructure, MIS etc + working on research projects for the portfolio manager.

We welcome individuals that are ambitious and that would like to work towards a future portfolio manager position - for example, an individual previously in this role moved internally into a trader position and is now a PM, whereas another individual isnow an Investment Analyst.

The role can pay up to a £65k base salary.

You are part of the front office bonus pool, so a large % of base can be realised as a bonus for a top performer.
