Our client, who operate a very successful business and expanding business, are looking to engage a new Senior Learning and Development Manager on a permanent basis.

The business has been through exceptional growth which, as a result, as initiated a needfor a new Learning and Development function, which will encompass Talent, Learning and Development across the group.


This role is responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of Learning and Development to build business capability aligned to the wider business strategy for the future.

The role will also, but not be limited to, collaborate with Senior Leadersand wider business areas on all training matters, assess learning needs and solutions, design and develop learning curriculum's, design solutions to build capability, manage the budget and ensure all content is fit for purpose.

The role will involve consultwith senior leaders within the business to assess where the training needs lie and how would be best to initiate training, learning and development for internal employees within the business group.


Duties may involve:

  • Consulting on wide scale learning projects impacting all internal employees
  • Partnering with a business area to ensure the continual review and development of induction material and opportunities to impact and improve performance
  • Working with and developing the L&D plan to ensure consistent development
  • Observing the L&D training and delivery to ensure consistent development
  • Partnering on projects from inception stage to shape learning approaches and take accountability for the full learning life cycle
  • Ensuring continual monitoring of learning solution quality and monitors impact/return on investment, implementing initiatives to ensure the continuous improvement of learning outcomes
  • Proactively identifying the learning needs of operations staff through various indicators to initiate learning solutions and projects
  • Aiding and developing the learning needs of the team
  • Owning and maintaining the induction of the area and guides delivery of inductions where needed
