We're on the lookout for a new colleague who is person-centred with great chat to complete our amazing
#TeamRichmond in Bishopbriggs on a permanent, part-time basis.

(20 hours per week)


The Role

#TeamRichmond is an active and outgoing service that provide support to 3 gentlemen who share a home.


You'll be joining a small and friendly team in a fun and varied role, where no two days are the same As a
Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting 3 fun loving gents with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, support to activities and appointments, managing personal finances, assisting with medication and personal care.

With your support you will enable the gentlemen participate in various activities and events in their local community.


You will take an active role in the planning and delivery of person-centred care to enable the people we support to live fulfilling and valued lives, where they can achieve their own personal goals and aspirations.


About You


We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us.

We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need, including the opportunity to complete your SVQ.


To be a great
Support Practitioner, you'll be:


  • naturally empathetic person with a warm, friendly personality
- able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills and set clear boundaries
- able to build and maintain positive, respectful relationships different people
- adaptable, confident when lone working and able to use your initiative
- competent in the use of technology to enhance the support you provide, e.g. Microsoft Office and Outlook
- reliable, flexible and responsive to meet the changing needs of the people we support


Shift Patterns
The shift pattern will include a combination of day shifts and back shifts with a sleepover.


Our sleepover shifts do not form part of your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of £84.00 for an 8 hour sleep-over and £94.50 for a 9 hour sleepover.

on **If youre successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
