CNC Machinist

Expected earnings of up to £53,000 per annum

Location:
Near Watlington, Oxfordshire

Hours: 37 Hours a week (Early Friday Finish)

Job Type:
Permanent

As part of a brand new facility, you will be involved from the outset, in creating a world class manufacturing cell producing a range of safety critical products.

You would be responsible for undertaking a wide range of manufacturing processes.

CNC Machinist Duties:

Set and operate fully automated multi axis CNC machining centres
Understand and edit CNC programmes
Assemble components in line with stringent quality standards
Inspect their own work, using a range of equipment including magnetic particle crack detection and coordinate measuring machines.
Actively participate in a 5'S programme, to continually improve production output and quality targets

CNC Machinist Profile:

5+ years experience setting and operating CNC Machines (Mills, lathes)
Capable of compelting self inspection to a high standard
Knowledge of Engineering Drawings
Aerospace manufacturing background would be ideal

CNC Machinist Qualifications required

Recognised engineering apprenticeship / National tech certificate engineering / City & Guilds / E.I.T.B / NVQ / BTEC / EAL
English and Mathematics GCSE 49 (A-C)
Computer literate
