We're recruiting an
Administrative Officer to join our wonderful team in
Swansea. We are looking for someone who is personable, self organised and has strong administration skills. You will be a member of the administrative team that supports key offices. The post holder will be based in Swansea working 15 hours per week.


mirus is a not-for-profit charitable organisation, working in partnership with the people they support, their families and other partners, to deliver high quality, person-centred support services for people with a disability. We have been supporting people in Wales for over 35 years and currently support over 350 people in ten different local authority areas.


What will you be doing?
You will provide a personable, professional and positive customer service:

  • setting the tone through your general demeanour and can-do attitude.
- ensuring the office environment is welcoming, safe and organised; making it feel a great place to work.
- playing a vitally important role in the smooth running of the organisation and offices
- helping everyone in the organisation to be as efficient as they can be by delivering high quality and accurate administration.

  • Dealing with incoming calls and varying administrative tasks.

Your key objectives are to:


Providing high-quality administration and business support across the organisation in line with our organisational administration standards and organisational branding guidelines.


  • Monitor, procure and replenish all office supplies and PPE Inventory to meet customer need and in line with our approved supplier list and budgets.
  • To coordinate room and event bookings ensuring that the facilities, refreshments and layout are organised in line with the host requirements.
  • Ensuring the office is; secure and accessible, is always kept clean and tidy, is maintained and any works identified and scheduled
Take responsibility for the office petty cash undertaking regular checks and reporting income and expenditure to finance monthly

  • Undertake regular Office Health & Safety checks and ensure the corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.

What are we looking for?

  • Someone who is personable and customer focused.
  • You will need to have strong administration skills with the ability to comfortable use Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Microsoft teams. Including an understanding of excel formulas and being able to do mail merges in word.
  • Have strong experience of producing documents, reports, typing up notes.
  • You must be able to drive and have access to a car.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.
