Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant - Peckham

Got experience as a Youth Support Worker? Live close to Peckham?
This is a full time role, from Monday to Friday position (08:30 - 16:00). No previous experience working in a school required, provided that you have a passion for working with children and have worked with children in some capacity and can provide a referencerelating to this role with children

The role:

Support secondary aged students with autism and special educational needs
Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class
Willing to complete training on how best to support students with SEN
Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised

Requirements:

Available Immediately for a fulltime position:

Willingness to learn what it takes to support SEN children
Must have good behaviour management skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Live local to Peckham or within a commutable distance
Either have an Enhanced DBS or be willing to get one processed
