Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant - Peckham

This is a full time role, from Monday to Friday position (08:30 - 16:00). No previous experience working in a school required, provided that you have a passion for working with children and have worked with children in some capacity and can provide a referencerelating to this role with children

The role:
- Support secondary aged students with autism and special educational needs
- Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
- Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class
- Willing to complete training on how best to support students with SEN
- Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised
Requirements:

Available Immediately for a fulltime position:
- Willingness to learn what it takes to support SEN children
- Must have good behaviour management skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Live local to Peckham or within a commutable distance
- Either have an Enhanced DBS or be willing to get one processed
