Overview of the role and what will you be doing

The role based on 4 days a week on site at our Welwyn Garden City office due to the nature of the role.


The Desktop Support Team leader (EUC) will hands on ensuring that incidents and requests are logged and progressed effectively within the defined service level agreements and to manage and complete scheduled tasks on time.

The ideal person will have a proven track record in the installation, support and maintenance (to an advanced level) of EUC Windows, and Mac devices, including tablets, laptops, and AV Equipment.

You will be able to demonstrate the management of incidents and issues through to resolution, whether that be individually or as part of a team.


  • The primary functions of this role will to be support the board exec team (being their main contact) and the creation of all end user documentation.
  • Some of the key responsibilities will be (please check our site for a full run down of responsibilities)
  • Team leader responsibilities of 3 support staff
  • First point of contact and prioritization of executives at all levels
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting and guide users with stepbystep instructions to diagnose issues
  • Conduct regular 121's with team members and manage progression and development of all team members
  • Own to processes for pre meeting checks
  • Procurement of hardware/software/licensing according to budget forecasts

What we would like from you
Excellent knowledge around - Windows 10/11, Mac OSX, Windows Active Directory/AAD. Microsoft 365 (All products, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Office Suites), Autopilot, Build/Rollout Desktops/Laptops, awareness of IT server infrastructure
If you have any knowledge of the following or hold a recognized qualification that would be great

  • ITIL, COMPTIA A+, MCSA, MCSE or MCITP, Azure (Intune, Endpoint)
- zScaler

  • Apple Business Management
  • Meraki Wireless
  • Microsoft AutoPilot
