Purpose of the Role
As an integral member of the IAG Cargo Transformation Office you will be responsible for managing fundamental change from inception to delivery.
Using a business partnering model to transform the way IAG Cargo operates, as the Head of Operations & Central Transformation you will be embedded within senior leadership teams across the business to drive change that delivers for our colleagues and customers.
You will be accountable for driving continuous improvement to deliver the IAG Cargo transformation programmes and objectives.You will provide key oversight and strategic direction to a wide range of senior internal and external stakeholders as well as the wider Transformation team.
Key Accountabilities
- Achieve trusted business partnering with IAG Cargo Executive Team (CET) members and their senior leadership teams collaborating and challenging as a valued partner, building solid and trusted relationships.
- Identify and demonstrate the need for innovative changes that will transform the IAG Cargo operations and central functions environment inc. People, Tech and Finance, and deliver the required senior stakeholder buy in for implementation.
- Accountable for the transformation agenda within owning directorate, ensuring that all transformation programmes meet with the fundamental change pillars and values endorsed by IAG Cargo CET.
- Demonstrate an agile approach to transformation with a deep understanding of each area within the business and an ability to provide transformational solutions to current working practices.
- Understand and articulate evolving business needs impacting IAG Cargo to drive innovation, industry benchmarking analysis, risk analysis, business case development and approvals.
- You will drive faster execution of plans which will deliver higher efficiency and better utilisation of assets, driving better business performance with accountability for realising tangible improvements to agreed KPIs.
- Foster an efficient and highperformance continuous improvement mindset across the business.
- Maintain knowledge of best in practice innovation, technology, processes and culture that can be identified and exploited to benefit IAG Cargo customers and colleagues.
