Supporter Services Administrator
We are currently recruiting for a

Supporter Services Administrator to join a global charity and work alongside a superb team in this temporary role - asap until they recruit perm. We are looking for someone to

start immediately, the role is located in the vibrant area of Farringdon, paying £12.64 an hour.

WHO WILL YOU BE WORKING FOR?

Our client is a leading international charity dedicated to providing protection, opportunities and emergency aid to the most vulnerable children across the globe.


WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?


To process a range of transactions efficiently, helping to maintain our extensive supporter database and always providing a high level of service.


Key accountabilities:


  • Opening and sorting the mail
  • Accurately scanning and banking cheques each day.
  • Counting and banking cash
  • Mail merging and sending out letters.
  • Creating, amending, and updating supporter records supporter database.
  • Assist with processing individual, and sponsorship Gift Aid in accordance with HMRC regulations.
  • Train new team members in procedures and further advise and support them in their work.
  • Identifying improvements to standard procedures and taking responsibility for documenting and developing ideas

**Education/Professional Skills: - Experience in handling large sums of money

  • Knowledge of the CARE database

Due to the nature of the organisation and their mission of helping children and vulnerable adults, you will need to complete a DBS check before starting. If successful, we can undergo this process for you.
