To be considered for this Building Physics Engineer role you will have:
- Degree or Master's in building physics or similar
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in IES VE building simulation software
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in building physics specifically energy modelling and building simulation
- Brilliant time management and organisational skills
- Experience completing projects for Part L compliance, EPCs, CIBSE TM59/52 Overheating Analysis
- Knowledge of Building Regulations, energy codes and planning requirements throughout the UK
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- OCDEA, LCC or LCEA qualifications (Desirable)
Working as a Building Physics Engineer you will:
- Liaise with design team, statutory authorities, and contractors
- Support with energy modelling and building simulation
- Complete projects for Part L compliance, CIBSE TM59/52, EPCs, CIBSE TM54 Operational Energy
- Assist with early design modelling looking at passive design measures
- Support with marketing and business development
