A leading survey firm operating in the Midlands area, specialising in providing comprehensive surveying services for various infrastructure projects.With a team of around 30 dedicated professionals, we pride ourselves on delivering accurate and reliable data to support our clients' needs.
Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting utility surveys using a variety of techniques, including electromagnetic detection, ground penetrating radar, and utility mapping software.
- Accurately interpreting survey data to identify the location, depth, and type of underground utilities, including gas, water, electricity, and telecommunications.
- Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that surveying requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
- Producing detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices while working on site to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilising cuttingedge surveying technology and equipment to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of utility surveys.
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior surveying staff as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualification in surveying, geomatics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in utility surveying, including proficiency in using surveying instruments and software.
- Strong knowledge of underground utility networks, surveying techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Detailoriented with a meticulous approach to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel to project sites across the Midlands region.
Salary:
£33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
