A dynamic and forward-thinking SEMH school in Fulham are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their school to support children and families in the local community.


The Role
In this role you will be teaching a class of 8 primary age learners all who have SEMH needs. There are 13 pupils in total and split across 2 classes.

You will take on planning responsibilities for planning age appropriate activities and other additionallearning opportunities whilst also giving pupils time for energy breaks.

There is an experienced team of Learning Support Assistants in place in the class to provide support to all learners.

The class needs a teacher who has a good understanding of behaviourmanagement and autism who can provide structure, routines and appropriate learning.


About the Provision


This Alternative provision is part of a specialist academy trust which provides specialist support for pupils who are unable to access mainstream education.

They have a culture of resilience, compassion and innovation with a true drive to ensure every learnerreaches their full potential.

This setting in Fulham has a total of 16 places for primary and secondary age children who experience difficulties with their learning and behaviour in mainstream school.

Some pupils have an EHCP in place whilst others are atrisk of being (or have been) permanently excluded. The school follows the national curriculum alongside a range of extracurricular activities to enhance their learning.

The school uses their own Behaviour for Learning framework which is based on the relationshipwith self, others and curriculum, and promotes positive learning behaviours inside and outside the classroom.

The school is easily accessible by bus and tube.
