You will be supporting existing systems, designing, and delivering new features as HSE develop its services, adhering to standards and using Agile principles ensuring timely production of goals and approvals through constructive collaboration with all relevant parties contributing to innovation of all products.
As a Senior Dynamics Functional Consultant, you will work with a wide range of stakeholders such as user researchers, product managers, designers, business analysts, content specialists, delivery managers and other digital architects, all of whom share a vision for a user centric approach and making government services better through smarter use of technology.
In this role you will drive and deliver development and implementation of Microsoft's Dynamics 365/Power Platform solutions which form part of HSE's back office and business facing solutions.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dynamics 365 CE (Customer Engagement) Functional Consultant to join our team.
As a Senior Dynamics Functional Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation and customisation of Dynamics 365 CE solutions for use by our internal and external users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop/configure and implement solutions for MS Dynamics within the Digital Portfolio of Projects and Programmes in HSE.
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 CE components, including entities, forms, views, workflows, and business rules.
- Design and implement business processes using outofthebox functionalities and custom extensions.
- Develop, customise, and configure solutions using Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
- Provide technical leadership in relation to infrastructure and development decisions while setting examples for teams through good ways of working and collaboration.
- Utilise Azure DevOps and technical design sessions to collaboratively develop.
- Ensure all solution designs and implementations are documented to a high standard while ensuring the implementation also delivers the milestones of the strategic roadmap.
- Support developing IT technical solutions to solve business problems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their unique requirements and objectives.
- Implement a continuous integration and deployment lifecycle for projects and BAU services in line with Cabinet Office (Central Digital & Data Office (CDDO)) design principles.
- Ensure the reuse of common components in line with CDDO and HSE Design principles.
- Set up a way of working and process internally to support existing and manage new developments.
- Address and resolve user issues, bugs, and system errors in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with project managers and crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects within specified timelines and budgets.
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and progress reporting.
