In support of our continued and rapid growth, we are currently seeking a

Cyber Security Technical Consultant to engage with our customers across the entire solution lifecycle, from the initial pre-sales engagement through to design, delivery and handover. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, using your industry and vendor knowledge to provide best-practice advice and solutions that help our customers connect and secure their digital assets.

Your role as Cyber Security Technical Consultant:
As a Cyber Security Technical Consultant, you will be engaged with customers throughout the entire solution lifecycle.

At the start of an engagement, you will provide pre-sales technical expertise, helping our customers make the right architectural and vendor decisions.

Post-sale, you will have responsibility for designing, building, and implementing solutions either on-site or remotely.

The role will require you to have good troubleshooting skills, and you will deliver excellent documentation such as HLDs, LLDs, Test Plans, Migration Plans, and handover documentation.

No two days will be the same, but the types of activities the Cyber Security Technical Consultant will be involved in include:

Act as the Technical Lead for projects assigned to you
Provide technical responses to customer RF(X) and tender documents
Be involved in Proof of Concepts
Own the Bill of Materials that sales can quote against
Keep abreast of the latest cyber security technology innovations that may be relevant to our customers, and maintain expertise as required by the business through accreditations and vendor certifications
Deliver highquality professional services to our customers, ensuring close attention to detail to minimise any issues or errors
Produce excellent technical documentation
Provide content and get involved in the creation of videos, blogs, and articles

We hire smart, high-energy people You must have a can-do attitude and be ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in to deliver great results.

You will be a reliable team player with an excellent sense of humour.
We hire for attitude and approach over specific vendor experience, but this role does require demonstrable delivery skills in SIEM plus one or more of SSE or EDR

Preferred vendors include:

SIEM

Chronicle and/or Sentinel and/or Exabeam (we are also interested to hear from people willing to crosstrain from other SIEM vendors)

Netskope and/or Zscaler and/or Palo Alto Prisma

EDR

CrowdStrike and/or Defender and/or SentinelOne

Any additional experience you have across DDoS, WAF, IDAM, PAM, CSPM or Vulnerability Management would be a bonus.

You will have an excellent knowledge of current cyber security trends and we will invest in ongoing training to ensure you keep abreast of what's happening across the cyber industry.

Job Specifics:

This is a hybrid role based at our UK (Basingstoke) office
Hours are fulltime: Monday-Friday, 9:00am5:30pm (occasional evening or weekend work may be required)
Some travel should be expected, including overnight stays in the UK and occasionally abroad when necessary
You will be required to attend customer sites across the UK and must therefore hold a full UK driving licence
