About Us


We are partnered with an established yet growing construction consultancy business and we're looking for a skilled Acoustic Consultant to join the expanding team.

This company has expertise in various domains including Air Tightness Testing, Sound Insulation Testing, Ventilation Testing, SAP Calculations, and EPCs, ensuring quality services across the board.


Responsibilities

As an Acoustic Consultant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough acoustic surveys and tests.
  • Crafting detailed reports that adhere to industry standards like BB93, BS4142, etc
  • Setting up and managing equipment for assessments.
  • Collaborating closely with our inhouse team to oversee projects from start to finish.
  • Possible involvement in Part E sound insulation testing.
  • Opportunity to train and mentor new team members and potentially become a SAP Assessor.

Requirements:


  • At least two years' experience in acoustic consultancy.
  • A degree in acoustics or a related field.
  • Proficiency in BS4142 and BS8223 industry standards (essential) and BB93, BS4142, BREEAM, and Approved Document E (desired).
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and manage acoustic consultancy projects independently.
  • A valid, clean driving licence.
