Support Coordinator / Administrator

Office Based - Southall

Full time - Monday to Friday

£ £13.00 per hour

Temporary Role
We are currently recruiting for a fabulous and varied temporary role for a client of ours based in Southall.


This is an exciting opportunity to support a global company who works with many leading brands and requires someone very hands-on, who can support both in general office administration AND coordinate the day-to-day running of ongoing projects with larger teams.


It will be working within a laboratory environment so would ideally suit someone who is studying in this area, or has a degree within a scientific background.

Part of your day-to-day administration duties will actually include the preparation and running of testing equipment, so we are seeking someone able to setup and run tests following strict procedures.


Within this laboratory environment you will also be setting up documents in readiness to any tests, recording results, assisting in the preparation of any products needed for evaluation and the setting up of in-house technology to record these results.


This is a very hands-on and varied role, requiring someone not shy in lending a hand where needed - from facilities to administration You will need to be able to pick up instruction up quickly and be a confident communicator, as well as having knowledge of Excel.


Key duties will include:


  • Monitoring and ordering of supplies where needed.
  • Working with lager teams in setting up documents to record results.
  • Assisting with the recording of results from evaluations.
  • The setting up of inhouse technology ready to record results.
  • General office Administration tasks, including working with Excel.

Ideally you will;

  • Be studying towards or recently graduated from a scientific degree.
  • Have strong oral/written communication skills.
  • Be able to pick tasks up quickly and have good attention to detail.
  • Be a strong and confident communicator (essential).
  • Any handson administration/coordination experience would be an advantage, however is not a requirement (graduates welcome).
