This is an fantastic opportunity to join our team at the "Rosemere Cancer Centre".


Radiotherapy Support Workers within the Rosemere Cancer Centre carry out varied duties in support of Therapeutic Radiographers delivering radiation treatment for patients from Lancashire and South Cumbria.

You will be part of a multiprofessional team committed to providing a high quality caring and compassionate service for patients, their relatives and friends.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated individual with a "can do attitude". Good communication, interpersonal and team working skills are essential, along with the ability to work flexible shift patterns.

Training opportunities' and staff support will be available for continuous professional development


You should have a genuine interest in helping others and be able to communicate with people from all cultures and of all ages.

You must be able to present written information clearly and have good basic computer skills.


Responsible for providing a range of duties supporting the Therapy Radiography team and the activities of the Rosemere Radiotherapy Department including: assisting patients with personal hygiene, toileting, moving and handling, ensuring patient safety, and observing patients for changes in condition.

To support the productive operation of the department by undertaking a range of non-clinical activities that contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment

Provide care and support to patients and carers attending the department in accordance with agreed local and national standards.

Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean and productive care environment.

Assist with On-Treatment Review Clinics.

Undertake reception and coordination duties.
