We are currently recruiting for a

Payroll Advisor to join our expanding team. We are looking for an individual to support the team in delivering an efficient, confidential and accurate payroll service which meets internal and external requirements.


In the role of Payroll Advisor the key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a first class payroll service for approximately 12,000 weekly & monthly paid employees
  • Ensuring compliance with complex and diverse corporate and statutory requirements
  • Providing an effective and confidential service to all employees and outside bodies
  • Committing adhoc payments through the company Banking & BACs systems
  • Generating the accurate and timely submission of Year-End, P60 and P11D documents
  • Acting as key user of the company Time & Attendance systems
  • Reviewing internal processes and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Payroll Advisor - Key skills & experience

  • Handson experience in a similar or Payroll Administrator role
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel with strong payroll system aptitude
  • Strong operational understanding of current UK payroll legislation
  • Team player, demonstrating flexibility within a busy payroll department
  • Ability to multitask, plan and prioritise own workload in a pressurised environment
  • Effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Support and embrace change & improvement
  • A recognised Payroll qualification is desirable
