The role:

As a Teaching Assistant you will be part the school team. You will be supporting the class teacher, keeping track of pupils' progression, reporting back and communicating with the teacher.

You will work with small groups of children and 1:1 where necessary,encouraging independent learning as well as organising creative and educational activities.


  • Have TA
    experience in a primary school setting.
  • A positive and caring approach with previous experience of supporting children.
  • D emonstrate what additional and different learning techniques you have to help close the gap between lower and higher level ability pupils.
  • Be willing to commit to a 5 day a week role.
  • Be enthusiastic and energetic, with positive behavior management skills.
  • Have a strong academic background with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Have positive working relationships with children, staff and parents.
  • Will be available
    to start in January.
