A fantastic opportunity has risen for Accounting Operations Manager to join a great, growing energy business in Coventry. The company is looking for a strong leader to come into the business and be able to motivate and lead a team of both Accounts Receivablespecialists and Accounts Payable specialists

Duties of an Accounting Operations Manager includes:

  • Leading a team of both Accounts Payable specialists and Accounts Receivable specialists
  • Manage relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Monitoring team processes and when needing to do so implementing changes
  • Provide data for management accounts, forecasts, budgets and other adhoc reports within deadlines, or a timely manner
  • Supporting any annual audit requirements and providing relevant information to ensure an effective audit
  • Supporting other finance departments
  • Have experience in a similar title or level
  • Work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Have a relevant accounting or finance qualification (preferably)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have the ability to challenge others or to escalate to others
  • Ability to work unsupervised
