Hourly Rate:
£10.42 per hour


Hours:
Term time 2.00pm till 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 1.00pm to 3.00pm Friday.

In addition 20 hours throughout the school holidays, to complete any specific or deep clean tasks that can't be completed during term time, days and times to be agreed to be mutually suitable.

Purpose of the post
Alpha Learning is a small independent school, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. The position is for a part time cleaner, duties are listed in detail below.

As part of the role you will also be expected to undertake safeguarding training and maintain an awareness of when to report to designated staff and also to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Areas of responsibility and key tasks specific to role

• To work independently to ensure the building is kept clean and tidy on a daily basis, including cleaning toilets, emptying bins and classrooms, gym and communal areas are cleaned on rotation.
• To create and follow a cleaning schedule in conjunction with the centre manager.
• To follow all COSHH guidelines.
• To report any maintenance issues and record accurately in logs.
• To ensure cleaning cupboard is kept orderly and all supplies required are requested in ample time to ensure we do not run out of stock.

Generic areas of responsibility and key task associated with the role

• To work specified contracted hours.
• To attend any required training courses in person or online.
• To ensure that records are kept accurately as and when required.

This is not a complete statement of all duties, the postholder will be expected to complete other duties reasonably required by the Centre Manager.
