Description
We are currently undergoing recruitment for an Extrusion Operative in the Wrexham area. This will be a temporary to permanent position with a salary of £24,000 per annum.

The working hours are as follows:

  • Week 1: Monday
  • Thursday


  • Week 2: Monday

  • Thursday
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all products leave the factory on time and of a high quality
  • Produce products efficiently and to assist with maximising resources and minimising costs
  • To ensure the area is clean and tidy, ensuring all colleagues are working in a considerate manner at all times
  • Consistently strive for manufacturing excellence and comply with best practice in all areas of the manufacturing department
  • Making sure the Organisation's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Policies are followed at all times
  • To ensure all training guidance is being followed when operating machinery or a piece of equipment
  • Examine and inspect materials and products making sure that packing specifications are met
  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Load material and products into package processing equipment
  • Operating the extruder machine by following standard operating procedures and complete the relevant quality documentation
  • Operate the pallet wrapping machines
  • Measure, weigh and count products and materials
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to undertake repetitive tasks whilst maintain focus
  • Excellent manual dexterity and eye for detail
Experience and qualifications

  • Experience in a high volume production environment
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximising the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm


Salary:
£24,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Wrexham, Wrexham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
