We are a mid-sized, fast growing B2B media company with a portfolio of leading publications, websites, newsletter and video podcast productions that are globally distributed to senior positioned Gambing/Gaming Industry professionals worldwide.
Our organisation powers the Gambling/Gaming Industry's most prestigious awards programme for the last 10 years. The awards are hosted in London, Las Vegas and Asia
The Role
Due to growth, we are seeking a highly motivated, positive minded, sociable, strong business development individual to sell annual awards sponsorships to industry manufacturers and other relevant organisations.
The successful applicant will take ownership of ensuring existing sponsors re-sign, drive revenue from new sponsors plus identify additional areas to increase sponsorship sales.
The event includes 3 awards programmes annually.Main Responsibilities
- Consultative selling verbally via phone & video calls plus inperson
- Attending industryrelated conferences and events (outside of the U.K.)
- Meeting KPIs and targets
- Creating engaging, effective and persuasive sales pitches
- Experience of selling event sponsorships (min. 2 years)
- Desire to exceed targets with a hardworking attitude thus willingness to go further and beyond the 'shift'.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent administration, interpersonal and organisational skills
- A selfmotivated individual that enjoys working within a team of strong salespeople
