We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant/hotel kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
• Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with established procedures
• Assist in receiving and unpacking deliveries
• Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary environment is preferred
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
