Do you want to be highly valued for your clinical knowledge? Our client is currently seeking an outgoing individual to join their team as a Clinical Application Specialist and develop their position in the surgical market.


The company
Our client is a well-respected, dynamic medical device organisation who specialises in surgical energy devices. Its mission is to provide innovative energy products that are used in surgical procedures around the world.

They are supported by a strong researchand development arm, joining forces with leading universities and hospitals in product development processes.


The role

As a Clinical Application Specialist, you'll work alongside the Area Sales Manager to support the clinical use of our client's range of medical devices in both NHS and private sector hospitals.

Your ability to build rapport with key clinical customers willinvaluable to the sales team; you'll become an expert of the technical and methodological requirements of our client's solutions and liaise with surgical teams to ensure they optimise the use of the product portfolio.


  • Other responsibilities include:_
  • Presenting data to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Delivering product training and product trials
  • Identifying potential pain points for customers and offering solutions
  • Mapping competitor products
  • Offering general field support to customers
  • Supporting sales activities for the product portfolio
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers

The requirements:


  • This role requires a competitive and determined individual with demonstrable experience working in theatre in a clinical environment

Other requirements include:

  • Degree level educated in a life science discipline or Nursing qualification
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy
  • Commercial sales training would be a plus
  • Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Outstanding information gathering and problemsolving skills
  • Selfmotivated and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Keen to develop both professionally and personally
  • Flexible and willing to travel across the territory
