Principal Systemic Psychotherapist


Contract:
Permanent, full time (£57,000-£62,500)


Coram Creative Therapies Team offers art and music therapy, therapeutic parenting, clinical psychology and family therapy to children in schools, at home (in person and online) and at our dedicated Pears Pavilion on the Coram Campus.


We work with adoptive and connected carer families:
are a trauma-informed service, and developing Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) in our work.
We have expertise in working with children with neuro-diversity and children with special educational needs.

The team have a strong track record in developing innovative interventions, including recently music therapy and narrative therapy based multi-family groups for younger children who are adopted or on a special guardianship orders.

We are developing good partnerships with universities - and The Institute of and are piloting research based creative interventions.

We work within diverse communities and we consciously challenge ourselves and our practice, seeking at all times to develop opportunities for anti-racist and inclusive practice.

We wish to reflect the communities we serve in the therapeutic team.

About the role


We are seeking an experienced Systemic Psychotherapist to lead our Adoption Support Fund (ASF) multi-disciplinary assessments, to offer family interventions, and to lead the wider work of the team, including offering supervision to IAPT qualified systemic practitioners in the team, consultation to RAA and VAA social workers, and the running of the clinical service.
