Potter Group, a leading company within the waste, materials and recycling industry in Wales are looking to recruit a
HWRC Site Attendant to join their team in Welshpool.
Job Purpose
To ensure that waste brought onto the site is segregated to maximise recycling. At all times adhering to Company policies and procedures including H&S, environmental and operational requirements.
A customer-focused approach, reliability, commitment and a willingness to work in all weather conditions are key requirements of this role.
This work can be physically demanding at peak periods and applicants must be prepared to work in all weather conditions.
Role / Responsibilities
- Advising and providing assistance to members of the public on the correct segregation route of their waste.
- Ensuring the site is kept clean, tidy and safe at all times
- Undertaking site inspections and reporting any unsafe conditions to the line manager
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and within your H&S responsibilities as detailed in the company H&S policy.
- General operational related administrative duties to assist in smooth and efficient running of the Household Recycling Centre, daily completion of site records
- Any other reasonable duties as required by management
