Page Personnel are working with a global manufacturing organisation to recruit for an assistant accountant on a temporary basis based in Warrington.

You will be supporting the Finance Manager on a day to day basis and will be working to a hybrid model.


Client Details
This organisation have been established for over 30 years.

Built a very reputable brand since establishment and are seeking to bring an additional member of the finance team on board during a very busy period.


Description
Reporting into the Finance Manager the assistant accountant will have the following duties:

  • Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Management of large complex data
  • Providing analysis to help preparation of the accounts
  • Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments for the business
  • Reconciling petty cash
  • Supporting with purchase and sales ledger
  • Chasing of outstanding debt

Profile

The successful assistant accountant will be:

  • AAT qualified
  • Studying CIMA/ACCA desirable
  • Proven track record in similar role
  • Excellent excel skills including Sage experience advantage
  • Able to work autonomously

Job Offer
Competitive salary up to £28,000
