Description

Research Fellow in Applied Health (Nuffield Foundation):

Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have a background in applied health research? Do you want to further yourself in one of the UK's leading research-intensive Universities?:

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Research Fellow to work on a Nuffield Foundation/ Versus Arthritis funded research study evaluating a remote osteoarthritis peer-mentorship programme for people experiencing socioeconomic disadvantage in supporting self-management of hip and/or knee osteoarthritis.

This is an exciting and novel project focusing on musculoskeletal inequalities. We have developed a remote peer-mentorship programme and have trained volunteers who will deliver the programme. We are now at the stage of delivering and evaluating this peer-mentorship programme.

Working closely with members of the project team you will lead on project activities, including recruitment of participants onto the research project, data collection and analyses of both qualitative and quantitative data.
