Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity within the Procurement Team based at the Liverpool Women's Hospital, Crown Street, Liverpool, L8 7SSWe are looking for a pro-active procurement professional to join our team as a Procurement Officer.
As a Procurement Officer the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team, assisting the Procurement Manager, and Associate Director of Procurement in delivering effective Procurement services across the Trust, ensuring best possible value for money is achieved across the procurement of goods & services across the Trust.
By supporting stakeholders across multi-disciplinary divisions to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner, ensuring robust reporting systems are agreed, in place with consistent monitoring of progress.
Responsible for releasing cost savings, value adding, and ensuring probity through contract compliance and ongoing performance monitoring of contracts and contractors.

The post holder will:
Support the Senior Procurement team to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed, and delivered effectively.
Support the Divisions in ensuring that all Commercial activities are conducted in a professional manner following appropriate legislative, policy and process guidelines.
Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring spend, implementation and evaluation of the tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder management.
Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of stakeholders, and external organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects.
Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
Support the Procurement Team and our customers by completing simple enquiries and activities and working with the wider team on more complex queries and activities.
Assist in the drafting of documentation for tendering activity.
Maintain intranet / website updates in line with policy
