Validation and Verification Engineer - Hertfordshire - £40k


My client is a market leader in designing solutions that make for fast, simple and effective testing of fire detectors.

They are looking to take on a V&V engineer who can ensure new and existing products and designs meet quality, reliability and usabilityrequirements.


Key responsibilities:

  • Recording and reporting of test results accurately and clearly for analysis and review. Interfacing with customers as and when required.
  • Development and commissioning of V&V test equipment in line with requirements stemming from test methods and procedures.

Key skills:

  • Experience with life-cycle testing on hardware and embedded firmware.
  • Knowledge of Product Testing (e.g. performance, functional, regression, durability, usability).
  • Experience with creation of validation and / or verification plans.
