Description

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Manager here at the Green hotel in Kinross, owing to recent changes to the business we are now looking to appoint the right person to support all aspects of maintenance at the hotel including guest rooms, all public areas, restaurants and bars as well as project work and managing our planned preventative maintenance calendar.


Day to Day


To ensure that all areas of the hotel are well prepared in terms of heating, lighting, gas, hot water, fixtures and fittings.


Working closely with the housekeeping team to ensure that all guest bedroom maintenance requirements are dealt with professionally and as soon as possible.

Carrying out daily fire checks and initiating weekly fire alarm test.

Ensuring that good housekeeping and cleanliness is maintained at all times.


To conduct risk assessments and report all hazards or faulty equipment to the General Manager and following up resolutions as necessary.


Working closely and communicating with other heads of department in the hotel to ensure consistency and attending weekly business planning meetings.


Requirements:

A full - clean drivers license is a must.

A good understanding of plumbing and painting is essential.

Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferred but not essential.

A good understanding of maintenance for a similar size property.

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
