Do you have experience of working with youth work or have worked in a school setting and would like to join a large charity who support young people with learning disabilities or autism to thrive in the world of work?
The charity delivers a supported internship programme. Young people study employability & life skills whilst imbedding English and Maths on the course. As part of this, they will be allocated an employer to go on a work placement with.

Your role will vary dayto day, but could include:


  • Supporting the young person to plan their journey to work so they can become independent
  • Attending work with them, working closely with employers to provide support as needed
  • End of day calls with the young person and employer to check on progress
  • Liaising closely with the tutor around potential extra support needs


You will have a caseload of - 3 young people and you will be making a huge difference in their lives.

The office hub is the in centre of Worcester, but you must be a driver as you will be working in an outreach capacity across Redditch, Kidderminster, Malvern, Evesham
To apply, you might be a recent graduate in a related degree such as psychology.

Or you might have experience of working with young people with support needs, so could have worked as a tutor, teacher or learning support assistant or teaching assistant ideallywith SEN needs.

You might have also worked as a support worker, hostel worker, careers advisor or employment advisor.

Please not full time salary is £21,328 but as this is part time 22.5 hours the salary would be £12,969.
