Role:
Curriculum manager - Creative & Business

Location:
Amersham

Pay rate:
£37 - £42 per hour

  • To deliver outstanding student success through operational leadership and management of a team of staff including lecturers, and business support staff.
  • To deliver outstanding TLA within the creative, business and computing curriculum areas
  • To line manage a high performing team of staff and support the team's development through Personal Development Reviews, target setting, performance management and staff development
  • To ensure that the curriculum offer meets the needs of students, employers and local stakeholders now and in the future
  • To continue to drive the curriculum forward to an outstanding provision
  • To utilise business planning strategies to ensure growth and sustainability
  • To maximise staff utilisation and resources through astute financial management in order to provide a distinctive high quality student experience
  • To embed an aspirational culture with students and staff across the curriculum area

What we're looking for:

  • Leadership and management qualification
  • Cert Ed/PGCE or relevant teaching/training qualification & Degree
  • An understanding of awarding body internal verification and external
  • Knowledge of changing sector requirements, and national and global trends, and the ability to interpret these into curriculum plans
  • Demonstrable experience of leading and developing teaching, learning and assessment provision in accordance with quality assurance frameworks
  • Experience of providing inspirational leadership and management to teams, resulting in enhanced teaching, learning and assessment practices, growth and organisational change.
  • Techsavvy with the ability to use technological tools and systems to enhance delivery of learning and general practice
  • Experience of working to the Common Inspection Framework & Experience of liaising with awarding bodies
  • Enhanced DBS on update service
