_ We are looking for a confident and super organised Event Co-ordinator to join the lovely team at this leading Body within the broadcast sector. Here you'll get the opportunity to work on a varied range of events - as well as supporting the Head of Events on their larger events and awards programmes, you'll be given your own set of varied events, focussing on new comers to this exciting sector_.

Organisation
This organisation is a highly regarded and well-known Body that sits at the heart of the broadcast industry.

The team deliver a really varied range of events in support of their aims, from televised awards events celebrating achievements in their field, to screenings, thought leadership conferences and events, a Graduate Fair, dinners, receptions, seminars & lectures, roundtables..

and everything in between.

They also run an annual programme of Masterclass events (webinars and f2f) aimed specifically at the younger generation looking to make their careers in broadcast.


Role & Context
You'll be joining a really friendly and supportive team of Head of Events and Event Manager.

The role has two strands to it - you will work as direct support to the Head of Events on the logistics and event admin for varied events and awards programmes, from managing award submissions, to guest registration, venue and supplier liaison.

You will also be given your own set of varied events and stakeholders to look after (specifically the programme of events aimed at the new generation entering or looking to enter the sector).

This is a brilliant role in an exciting sector, and would suit someone looking for a fully immersive events role, happy to do all the event admin nitty gritty and support on larger events and programmes, as well as take ownership of their own events.

In exchange we are looking for someone who is hard working, flexible, an events 2nd jobber with excellent previous event co-ordination experience, excellent admin skills, great communication skills.

_Specifically we are looking for someone who has:
_


  • Existing events coordination experience across f2f and virtual 24 years
  • Strong project managements skills, and highly organised
  • Excellent communication skills, confident and articulate, great interpersonal skills, able to deal with senior level contacts and stakeholders
  • Really good IT skills, across Word, Excel etc
  • Super organised efficient and with excellent attention to detail
  • A real 'doer' proactive, flexible, keen, a real team player
  • Confident to take a project and run with it, as well as able to do all the event nitty gritty and support others
  • Confident to deal with varied stakeholders and committee members, to keep projects and deliverables on track
  • Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, a good sense of humour, comfortable dealing with people at all levels, stakeholders, suppliers and Patrons alike.
