Independent living / pro-disability client:
Caring for a female 25 year old in her own home.

Shadow shifts starting beginning January 30th 2023.

Position start date 30/01/23. We are looking to fill 2 positions.

2 x contracted staff for set weekend work hours and staff holiday cover, where they can pick up additioal hours from our online rota if it suits and is available.

For genuine occupational reasons we are looking for Female support workers only.

(Exemption under the Equality Act 2010

Part 1 Schedule9).

Upto date DBS required.

What are we looking for in you:

• An enthusiastic, resourceful, patient and caring person.

Experience in care profession,

, learning disabilities /epilepsy preferred but not essential as training will be given.

• Enjoy being outdoors and active.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Hold a driving license and be willing to drive a Motability vehicle preferred.

All daily and Weekend work shifts 8am-3pm/3pm-10pm

.Able to communicate in other ways with someone who lacks communication.

Additional set pay for 10 hr voluntary shifts is a overnight sleepin /oncall support / paid higher rate to assist the night awake staff should you be called upon, regardless.

.The client generally goes home to her family over Christmas period.

This young lady is effectionate and fun loving who enjoys the company of others. She has a love of all things water, swimming, baths, showers and hot tubs.

She also has a great sense of adventure and enjoys horse and bike riding, the sensory thrill of theme parks, swings, slides and rides, walks at the beach / local parks near by ,trampolining and bowling to name but a few activities that she does on a regular business.

She enjoys music and occasional disco and youth clubs.

Her supported holidays she enjoys centre Parcs and the Calvert Trust.

She very much prefers the outdoors so please expect to be out and about whenever possible,2:1 teams at all young lady has a mobility car so drivers preferred if possible.

£12.00-£14.00 per hour
