This an exciting opportunity to join our progressive school, taking responsibility for the development and consistent implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that best practice is in place both in Taunton School Education Charity and within all associated companies (the Group).

This new role will lead on the development of governance best practice across the Group, and manage the development and consistent implementation of information processes including data reporting and adherence to data protection statutory requirements.

To be successful, you need to be educated to degree or equivalent level, have experience of working in compliance in the Education sector coupled with experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information, and be able to communicate with all levels of management.

You must have sound knowledge of areas of legislation relevant to Education, and the ability to interpret legislation and explain the requirements in simple, practical terms to non-specialists.

Your manner will be calm, approachable and professional, with a "can do" attitude.
