Description

We are a part of the Beauparc Utility Group and a leading waste management company in West Yorkshire, providing integrated and collection and recycling services to a wide range of businesses and local authorities alike.

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our Processing team. You will be responsible for operating various machinery, such as loading shovel, 360, forklift on our Waste site(s).

Main Responsibilities:

To undertake the operation of mobile plant as directed by the site manager.
To be able to operate to a good standard a 360 material rehandler tracked and wheeled.
To be able to operate to a good standard a loading shovel, wheeled front loader.
To ensure the mobile plant he is operating undergoes an inspection prior to use with any defects or damage reported to the site manager and noted on the daily check sheet.
To ensure machine is operated responsibly and only used for the tasks it is designed to carry out.
To communicate with colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the facility.
To read, understand and follow all risk assessments, work procedures and safe systems of work.
To carry out tasks other than machine operation as requested by management.

Requirements:

Adhere to the Company's health and safety policy and procedure

Work experience in Waste industry would be considered an advantage.
