Hours: 40 Hour per week

Salary:
£25,000 to £30,000 per annum

Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Assistant to join a busy team to support our client's component prepping department.

The main duties consist of working to customer drawings, prepping & masking components requiring finishing. Your primary responsibility will involve meticulously analysing engineering drawings and specifications to determine the exact areas requiring protection. Utilising your expertise in masking techniques and materials, you will ensure precise coverage, preventing any unintended surface treatments. Collaborating closely with production teams, you will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and meeting customer requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

To have a thoughtful and conscientious approach.
Engineering background is desired.
Ability to read technical/engineering (ISO) drawings.
The ability to understand customer and company requirements.
To follow instructions and company processes and procedures
Demonstrate good communication skills.
Carry out safe component handling practices.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
To have a flexible approach.
