About us
CNG Fuels develops, owns, and operates CNG refuelling infrastructure and sources 100% Renewable Biomethane (aka Bio-CNG) for its stations.

We are rolling out a UK wide network of reliable and convenient refuelling facilities to supply our customers heavy fleets.

Our Bio-CNG is biomethane 100% sourced from waste products including food, animal, and waste water. independently verified and approved by the Department for Transport's Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO).

The role of H&S Advisor will cover Construction, Operations, Maintenance and the wider business.

Working with people at all levels of the business to offer constructive feedback, guidance, and advice on health and safety compliance.

This is a new role that will develop as the company grows with room for progression.

Responsibilities
As a health and safety advisor, you'll need to:

carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced

- outline safe operational procedures which identify and consider all relevant hazards
- carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
- ensure working practices are safe and comply with legislation
- prepare health and safety strategies and develop internal policy
- lead in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks
- keep records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements
- record incidents and accidents and produce statistics
- keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry
