About the role
We are looking for an experienced, capable, dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team.

This is a role for someone with billing and finance experience, who has a keen eye for detail and work independently.


Your role will include:


  • Allocation of Bank receipts to invoices.
  • Analysis and allocation of unallocated cash balances.
  • Sending weekly debtors reports to the Managing Director for review
  • Producing customer statements.
  • Progression of credit control steps where necessary according to credit policy.
  • Resolving Customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Chase all invoices for payment, prioritising by age and value where necessary.

About You


Ideally you will have experience working within a Credit Control role, be an independent worker, be tenacious and have an eye for detail.

You'll be highly numerate, and well organised. You'll be a confident communicator, happy to speak to clients and account departments regarding outstanding invoices or issues. Ideally you'll have good Microsoft Excel experience and skills, be keen to learn, and not afraid to challenge things.


You will have:


  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role
  • At least 2 Years experience of using Xero in a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work well on your own, and with the team, and be able to use your own initiative
  • Strong communication and organisational skills is essential for this role.
  • Be process orientated and use initiative to streamline and learn new processes
  • Work confidentially and to treat issues with sensitivity

Salary:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
