A London Public Sector authority is looking for a HR Project Lead on an interim 4 month basis to deliver the work of integrating processes following the set up of the External Complaints Service for all bullying, harassment and discrimination cases.


This will involve managing the relationship with the external provider, project managing specific projects and the transfer of data between 2 parties in line with agreements and maintaining trusting relationships with key stakeholders both internally andwith the external provider.

The postholder will act as a strategic partner, feeding People Partners insights from the analysis of key data trends and be a key point of contact for the external suppliers team, ensuring successful delivery of the outsource serviceprovision.


The role requires a broad understanding of employment law and employee relations (suspension, harassment, grievance, disciplinary), managing correspondences, queries and project management of activities.


We are looking for someone who has strong employee relations and HR outsourcing experience, process improvement and delivering quality service.

Key responsibilities

  • Stakeholder management and ensuring adherence to agreed protocols and SLAs with external provider
Dealing with various HR queries from the external service and managing suspension process

  • Mapping, reviewing, and updating processes
Creating standard operating procedures

  • Providing advice and playing a major role in work reviews and change processes
  • Monitoring service performance
  • Acting as the point of contact for external provider and internal stakeholders, running weekly meetings
Working with a small project team, creating project management approach to mini projects in scope.


Skills, knowledge, and experience

  • Proven work experience in integrating services with external providers including project management approaches
  • Knowledge of employment legislation
  • Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
  • Ability to map and design clear and fair processes and link to policies
  • Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and data management skills
  • Highly resilient and able to work under pressure
  • Highly organised and responsive, with ability to work to SLAs and tight deadlines
