The Health Safety Manager is a subject matter expert responsible for leading the health safety agenda across four facilities rapeseed crush refinery soybean crush refinery port facility and power plant collaboration with plant manager In this role you will oversee execution continuous improvement of health safety process safety management systems at facilities regulated processes activities ensuring compliance reducing risks related serious injuries process safety events legal matters Key Accountabilities Collaborate maintain external reputation facilitate community governmental interactions prepare required reports responses inquiries support inspections audits customer visits Assess contractor support talent needs oversee onsite contractor activities implement processes manage local health safety risks contractors service providers Develop deliver training programs aligned global regional legal requirements conduct gap assessments identify competency needs adapt curricula site demands Implement monitor controls programs processes risk identification emergency planning incident management audits ensure effectiveness Partner foster strong culture promoting continuous improvement core value Participate discussions guidance planning incident response compliance regulatory matters Align goals metrics targets objectives monitor performance collaboration plant manager Handle complex issues independently escalate critical matters Perform duties assigned.
